    Muskellunge # 1620 Rod Ruth Artist
    Artist Rod Ruth (1912-1987) was raised near Lake Michigan, which engrained in him a lifelong love of nature and wildlife. He began his career as an illustrator for Chicago based magazines (1940-1951). Ruth further honed his skills over the next several decades in the field of advertising and children's books, drawing the comic strip ""The Toodles".
